Our talented and widely-admired chefs have worked in a number of Michelin-starred restaurants before joining the Château de Berne. Benjamin Collombat, trained at the Nice School of Catering and was second in command to Guy Martin at the Grand Véfour before opening his own restaurant in Draguignan.
A native of the area, having trained alongside such famous chefs as Philippe Da Silva and Guy Martin, he came to open his own restaurant in Draguignan, which soon became a true hot spot.
Enchanted by the hotel’s dreamlike setting, he established the new gourmet restaurant at the Château de Berne in 2016. His cuisine can be perfectly summed up in the name of his restaurant - “Le Jardin de Benjamin”. With fresh produce according to the season, the restaurant is the place to enjoy unique gourmet experiences.
His talents have also won over the critics of the famous Michelin Guide, who awarded him a Michelin star in his first year.
