The Bistrot of the Château de Berne offers a local cuisinewhere Provence is in the spotlight. Between convivial dishes and family cuisine, the menu varies with the seasons, drawing on the best that nature has to offer.
From the charcuterie plate to the cheese platter, via the traditional menu, the children's menu or the vegetarian dish, the Bistrot spares no effort to seduce young and old.
Aurélie Liautaud is the the Chef of the Bistrot since January 2022. Her presence in the kitchen is recent, but she is not new to the Bistrot, as she first worked for 5 years as chef de partie in the restaurant, before becoming the chef.
Today, she puts Provence at the centre of her cuisine, and helps to promote the Provence cuisine so dear to her heart.

The Bistrot is open everyday for lunch and dinner.

The restaurant is located in the heart of the Château de Berne estate, opposite our 5-star hotel and right next to the tasting cellar.

We have dishes that pay homage to the land and to good food: meat, fish, but also vegetarian dishes, starters, plates of cold meats and cheeses to share as an aperitif, pizzas and delicious desserts.

We have a daily menu with starter, main course and dessert.
Are children welcome in our restaurant?
Yes, of course. We have a children's menu for them.
What are the dishes on the children's menu?
For children, our Chef offers:
- Angus beef, cheddar and ketchup burger (with fries, vegetables or pasta) ;
- Angus chopped steak (with chips, vegetables or pasta) ;
- Fish of the day (with chips, vegetables or pasta) ;
- Pizza Marguerite ;
- Assortment of homemade ice creams and sorbets.

We use products from our organic vegetable garden, which is certified AB, as well as products from local organic producers.
What local products are served in your restaurant?
We only use products from local producers, whether for meat, fish or vegetables. Our kitchen garden supplies us with vegetables, fruit and herbs.
How often do the menu change?
The menu changes every season.
