Responsibilities

You'll play an essential role in the kitchen, assisting the Chef to ensure that your job is carried out hand in hand with the rest of the team, from setting up the service to cleaning it up.

You will be responsible for the following tasks:

  • Manage your workstation independently and ensure that dishes are prepared and dispatched in accordance with the Chef's recipes.
  • Ensuring that the dishes are well presented, cooked and tasty.
  • Working closely with the Chef and the other members of the brigade, as well as the kitchen staff, to ensure that the kitchen deliveries are perfectly synchronised.
  • Participating in stock management, receiving products and checking their quality and freshness.
  • Rigorously apply food hygiene and safety standards (HACCP).
  • Train and supervise assistants and apprentices, passing on your skills and your passion for gastronomy.
  • Contribute to the creative dynamic of the restaurant by contributing innovative ideas while respecting the spirit of traditional Italian cuisine.
  • Participate in the various tests required to renew the card.
Qualifications

You are passionate about cooking and have aexperience as a chef de partie in a similar or Michelin-starred restaurant.

You are someone who dynamic, creative and organised.

You have an eye for detail, an excellent presentation and enjoy working in a demanding and refined environment.

You're comfortable working as part of a team and can demonstrate leadership skills to coach and inspire clerks.

You have a CAP/BEP cookery training.

You are familiar with HACCP rules.
