Château de Berne is a 1000 hectare wine estate in the heart of Provence. Since February 2021, the 175 hectares of vineyards of the estate are certified organic. The Château de Berne has all the facilities for a top-of-the-range christening: magnificent reception rooms, outdoor areas with vines, garden, olive trees, vegetable garden, 3 restaurants, one of which is Michelin-starred and one gastronomic, and a 5-star hotel. In addition, our estate has its own chapel if you wish to organise a private ceremony.
Reception rooms
The Bacchus room, with a surface area of almost 250 m2, can accommodate up to 150 people. With its arches, vaults and elegant curtains, it offers a panoramic view of the estate's cellars.
The Jasmine Garden: With its superb glass roof, this 280 m2 space can accommodate around 220 guests. It is the ideal setting for your vin d'honneur, dinner or brunch the following day.
The green theatre: We propose to organise your christening reception outside. A place of fantasy, you have a large rounded stage of about 120 m2 in the middle of a lake. With stone seats, this atypical place is perfect for an original and warm baptism.
Restoration
The Château de Berne estate offers 3 types of catering for your christening: a Michelin-starred restaurant, a gastronomic restaurant and a bistro, Bib gourmand of the Michelin guide. These 3 establishments will take to heart to magnify local products, those from the estate's vegetable garden to create your baptism menu with all the flavours and colours of Provençal cuisine.
Accommodation
Your guests will have the possibility to sleep on site, for those who come from far away or who simply want to extend their stay. Our 5-star hotel has 34 rooms and suites, combining authenticity and contemporary spirit, in a "country chic" spirit.
