A domain with a long history
The Berne estate was first mentioned in the 12th century. e It was granted to Bernard de Clervaux by Raymond V, Count of Toulouse. In 1307, it was seized by King Philippe IV of France, and shortly afterwards became the property of the Marquis de Villeneuve for five centuries.
