Provence wines

Professionals in the sector have succeeded in making the most of this rich regional heritage thanks to three appellations representing almost all the classified wines produced in Provence:

  • Côtes de Provence, rosé in particular is an appellation grouping together three vineyards (Sainte-Victoire, Fréjus and La Londe),
  • Coteaux d'Aix-en-Provence,
  • Coteaux Varois en Provence brings together the vineyards of the Var region.

Rosé wines

As the leading producer of AOC rosé wines in France, Provence is THE ideal destination for discovering and appreciating grape varieties such as Côtes de Provence rosé. These grape varieties produce delicious wines with fruity aromas and light flavours. Refreshing, they are particularly popular as an aperitif or with grilled meats in summer.

The whites

Although the white wines of Provence are rather discreet, they are nevertheless characteristic of the region. Their pale yellow colour with hints of green reveals surprising flavours.
